1.3 Mobile App Permissions (iOS & Android)
The WADeals mobile app requests the following device permissions. Each permission is used only for the stated purpose and only after you grant it:
- Microphone — to record a voice message when you tap the record button, enabling transcription and translation. Recordings are sent for processing and then discarded.
- Camera — to let you take a photo to send in a chat. Photos are not retained by us.
- Photo Library — to let you pick an image to send in a chat or set your profile picture. We access only the specific images you select.
- Notifications — to alert you about new messages and connection status.
3. How we use information
- Provide translations, voice processing, back-translation checks, and other requested features.
- Authenticate users, manage subscriptions, and deliver customer support.
- Maintain service security, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and improve reliability.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. Translation and AI service providers
WADeals supports translation services that may include Google, Microsoft Bing, DeepSeek, and Doubao. When you select or use one of these engines, the content you ask to translate and limited technical information needed to complete the request may be transmitted to that provider.
Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy practices. Do not submit passwords, payment-card data, government identification numbers, trade secrets, or other highly sensitive information for translation unless you are authorized to do so and understand the applicable provider’s practices.
6. Retention, international processing, and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain required business records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and purpose of processing.
Because WADeals and its providers serve users internationally, information may be processed in countries other than your own. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information, and to request a portable copy. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

If you use the WADeals mobile app, you can also delete your account directly within the app by going to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Account deletion permanently removes your personal data, login sessions, content, and usage history. Anonymised payment records required by law are retained but are no longer linked to your identity.

WADeals is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum digital-consent age in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us.
